The 15-year-old star of “The Fosters” is a self-proclaimed footwear fanatic.
“My mom and I had a discussion [recently] about my shoes being all over the floor of my bedroom and I simply said, ‘I have no more room,’” gushed Bailee Madison.
In addition to being an avid fan of footwear, the teen actress, who plays Sophia Quinn on the ABC Family series, also has a few revolving fashion secrets.
“I’m constantly changing my style. I wake up one day and want to be super edgy, so I’ll wear black jeans and a leather jacket. [Another] day, I’ll wear a girly sundress,” she said. “There are three elements to my style: classy, fun and a modern 1950s feel.”
Madison will soon head to Toronto to film the upcoming series “The Good Witch,” set to air next year on the Hallmark Channel. She’ll play Grace Nightingale, who moves with her family to a small town where residents believe her house is haunted.
Here, the teen star dishes on her love for Sophia Webster and why she wants to raid the closets of Emma Stone and Taylor Swift.
Number of pairs: 40. “When I grow out of them, I give them to friends. Everything gets used again.”
Organization strategy: “I keep all of my heels in shoeboxes, so I know the brands and what they look like. I keep my boots on a shelf that runs across [the closet] and I have a bin underneath my bed with all of my flats. I try to keep them in categories.”
Favorite brands: “I love Ted Baker. They always have beautiful go-to heels. BCBG can have a tall, fun, funky heel. I love Schutz. I own a pair of their sparkle loafers with studs on the back. [Actress] Malin Akerman, [a former co-star on ‘Trophy Wife’], gave me those for my birthday. They are like a weapon.”

Best weekend styles: “I wear a lot of Keds with a black romper or a plaid T-shirt.”
Favorite red-carpet brand: “Ivanka Trump. Her shoes are beautiful. I have a great white heel with a silver peep-toe.”
Oldest pair: “Boutique 9, with a studded heel in back. They are so messed up, but I love them.”
Last purchase: “A good pair of Hunter boots for [filming in] Toronto this fall. A pair of knee-high boots from Louise et Cie.”
Heel heights: “I love height, so there is no such thing as too high. I usually wear around 4 inches.”
Best styles you’ve worn on set: “I got to play Hilary on ‘Trophy Wife’ for a year. Her dresses were so preppy and [a lot] were from J.Crew. I related to her always being put together, with high-waisted skirts and flats.”
Favorite on-set styles for “The Fosters”: “Kate Spade. I love her clothes and shoes. Plus, Alice + Olivia.”
Celebrity she’d like to swap footwear closets with: “Two people. Emma Stone: Everything she wears is so beautiful and classy and effortless. She always has an unexpected twist. Taylor Swift: She is the queen of making something vintage so elegant. If I could live in their closets — or rent their shoes — I’d be happy.”
Workout sneaker of choice: “I’ve been going to Pure Barre [classes], and they’re a great, effective workout in just one hour. I just got a good pair of running shoes. Nikes are the bomb.”
Next purchase: “Anything by Sophia Webster. Her candy heel — orange and yellow with a butterfly on top — so cool.”
